About The Artist
Chico, otherwise known as Francis John Cambe Yabut, lives in Bacoor Cavite, Philippines.
A young boy who's dreaming of becoming a sold out artist someday. After he took up architecture for his geometric line and freehand drawing enhancement, and hotel and restaurant management for his personality development, Chico found his true love through art. He is now a graphic artist and a freelance illustrator who owns a clothing line named CHICO.

Artist's History
Way back January 2010, Chico already had several designs stored on his desktop for personal purposes. But lately, he submitted designs to some online design contests like Havaianas Flip flops, Wheat Grass Can, and other online T-shirt design competitions which boomed last year (2010).

By the month of May of the same year, Chico started to make album covers for Hiphop artists like Loonie, Ron Henley, J-hon, Mike Swift, Benj, Alex Crisano, Don G, and beat production like Baked and Paro Paro Beats.

By his artistry and t-shirt printing skills, he produced his own swag the way he liked it to be. In July 2010, Chico began his career as 'the Boss' of his own clothing line - Chico Clothing.
"Naisip ko na nagdedesign ako para sa iba, bakit kaya hindi ako magdesign kung ano ang gusto ko at i-share ko sa iba."
Chico became an official clothing line after it release the 'Fly Away' Tee.

His well thought-out decision gave him popularity and name. Plus, he was able to produce more designs namely Stay Fly, Lipad ng Mataas, Libre Lumipad, Hukbong Himpapawid, and Classic Chico. (See Catalogue for photos.)
Other artists in the Philippine industry have noticed Chico's excellence in illustrations having his own style, quality, and versatility. He then received collaboration invitations from known groups and artists like Konektado, Brgy. Tibay, and Gloc-9.

Chico, a self-taught illustrator, went very much far from being an ordinary illustrator and other's fan. Noticeably, he is assertively chasing his dream through love in art.
And this is what CHICO CLOTHING is all about, man!
